JAKARTA – The performance of PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) was seen declining from 2021 to 2022. Its revenue and profit both were corrected 8.7% and 80.57% year-on-year (yoy), respectively.

In the Financial Report 2022 published today (15/2), Thalengsak Ratchburi, President Director of Fajar Surya Wisesa, mentioned that the sales reportedly reached IDR 10.89 trillion, shrinking from IDR 11.93 trillion. Its gross profit also declined from IDR 1.61 trillion to IDR 991.96 billion, as did its net profit from IDR 617.42 billion to IDR 119.92 billion.

The revenue was mostly generated by third parties, turning in IDR 8.73 trillion, whereas related parties brought in IDR 2.17 trillion. Its domestic market segment reached 80.8%, equivalent to IDR 8.80 trillion of revenue, while its market in other Asian countries reached 19.2%, worth IDR 2.08 trillion in total.

FASW also detected changes in its consumer structure in 2022. In 2021, its target market included African and Middle Eastern countries. Out of the total sales of IDR 11.93 trillion in 2021, the domestic market brought in IDR 9.54 trillion, followed by other Asian countries of IDR 2.36 trillion, as well as African and Middle Eastern countries of IDR 3.13 billion and IDR 20.38 billion.
