BTN’s profit soared 28.15%
JAKARTA – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) booked IDR 3.04 trillion of profit in 2022, increasing 28.15% from IDR 2.37 trillion seen in 2021.
In the 2022 Financial Report quoted Monday (20/1), Haru Koesmahargyo, President Director of Bank Tabungan Negara, mentioned that the total interest and profit-sharing revenue clocked up to IDR 25.90 trillion, slightly climbing from IDR 25.79 trillion in 2021.
Meanwhile, the net interest and profit-sharing income increased 15.44% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 12.99 trillion to IDR 14.99 trillion. The achievement resulted from efficiency in the total interest, profit-sharing, and bonus expenses, bringing them down from IDR 12.80 trillion to IDR 10.91 trillion.
In the same period, users’ savings were reported reaching IDR 297.09 trillion, growing 8.75% yoy from IDR 273.18 trillion. The total third-party funds, or temporary syirkah funds, also reportedly went up from IDR 22.76 trillion to IDR 24.82 trillion.
The distributed credit and sharia financing amounted to IDR 282.60 trillion, also increasing 8.52% from IDR 260.39 trillion in 2021. (LK/ZH)
