Chemical Asia Corp. dumped nearly 130 million Victoria Investama (VICO) shares
JAKARTA - Chemical Asia Corporation Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based investor, dumped nearly 130 million shares of PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO), or 129,860,000 to be exact, on Wednesday, February 15. The share portion shrinkage reduces Chemical Asia Corp.'s ownership of this brokerage and underwriting company to 26.02%, down from 26.87% previously. Furthermore, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold 11.07 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), while the Karya Mitra Satya Cooperative (KKMS) sold 1,023,700 shares of concrete manufacturer PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WTON).
In contrast to the three issuers who reduced their shareholdings, many investors decided to increase their investments this time. First, PT Intercipta Sempana purchased 107,627,327 shares of paper producer PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW). Its ownership grew by nearly 5%, from 30.6% to 34.94%. Following that, PT Global Mediacom Tbk held 35.29 million shares of PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN), while PT Mega Asta Raya spent money to buy 30 million shares of PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk (BESS), a company involved in sea and river transportation.
On a smaller scale, PT Citrajaya Perkasamulia recently acquired 6.3 million shares of cylinder tank manufacturer PT Pelangi Indah Canindo Tbk (PICO), followed by 5 million shares of DOID shares bought back by PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID). Individual investors have also increased their holdings. Ramajanto Tirtawisata purchased 1 million shares of tourism issuer PT Panorama Sentrawisata Tbk (PANR), while Suwantara Gotama purchased 200 thousand shares of PT Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (MBSS), a shipping company focused on energy.
