JAKARTA - On February 17, the number of shares sold by foreign investors in PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) was 3,461,860,400. This GOTO volume represents 73% of the total daily sales of 4.74 billion shares. Foreign purchases, on the other hand, totaled only 3.40 billion, resulting in a net foreign purchase of minus 1,336,968,600 shares. Surprisingly, GOTO shares also contributed approximately 1.30 billion shares to that number.

In addition, many foreign investors sold shares in PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) and PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA). Foreigners sold at least 137.22 million BUKA shares, and 111.16 million GIAA shares this time, so GIAA's net volume was quite low, around -93.53 million, while BUKA shares reached -66.06 million. Furthermore, foreigners released up to 90.49 million shares of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), resulting in a net volume of -71.72 million shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) tops the list of best-selling shares, with a foreign purchase volume of 280.30 million. This time, BUMI also had the highest net volume, with more than 163.39 million shares. Following that, foreign investors purchased 57.44 million shares of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS), for a net volume of 48.04 million shares. They also purchased approximately 35.72 million shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) and 38.02 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), bringing the net volume to 30.04 million MEDC and 22.31 million BRMS.
