JAKARTA – PT Temas Tbk (TMAS) plans to allocate IDR 1 trillion for its capital expenditure budget in 2023.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (28/2), Marthalia Vigita, Corporate Secretary of Temas, mentioned that the capex allocation will first need approval from its shareholders. “Capex will be used to develop business activities of the company and its subsidiaries,” she explained.

TMAS had been operating 50 container vessels throughout March-December 2022, recording a total volume of 25,912 Teus.

Last year, the company also added another business line, Project Bulk Carrier, which focuses on international route shipping, and acquired PT Mentari Mas Multimoda, a container shipping service. (LK/ZH)
