Star Pacific acquired 621,621,621 Bank Nobu shares
JAKARTA - On February 28, PT Star Pacific Tbk became a new investor in Nobu Bank. A total of 621,621,621 shares of PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU) were purchased, transferring 11.77% ownership to this issuer involved in business development and media management. Another big transaction on NOBU shares was carried out by PT Putera Mulia Indonesia, which sold 6.80 million shares. Aside from that, transactions involving PT IndoSterling Technomedia Tbk (TECH) were also quite visible, starting with the sale of 21.25 million shares by PT IndoSterling Sarana Investa and proceeding with the purchase of 21,187,500 shares by DBS Vickers Securities (Singapore) Pte Ltd.
PT Delta Dunia Makmur (DOID) also took an investment step by buying back 5 million of its own shares for preservation. Then, Taiheiyo Cement Corporation, a Japanese cement company, invested another 140,000 shares in PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SMCB).
PT ASABRI, on the other hand, divested from PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA) by selling 1.5 million shares. Several foreign investors with more than 5% ownership also took steps to divest. First, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund sold up to 15.70 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Following that, UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd. released 5.38 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), while Bintang Bara B.V. sold 460 thousand shares of PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA).
