JAKARTA - With a surplus of nearly 850 million shares on Thursday, March 2, net foreign can return to the green zone. Foreign investors purchased a total of 2.69 billion shares while selling 1.84 billion shares, for a net volume of 849,059,900 shares. Foreign investors purchased more than 1.76 billion GOTO shares from PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk, which were the best-selling shares this time as well as the ones with the highest net volume 799.65 million shares. Meanwhile, shares of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) reported the lowest net volume with -73.64 million shares, after foreign investors sold 108.67 million units of GIAA shares.

The net volumes of the other three shares are consistent in the 32–33 million range. First, foreigners purchased up to 46.42 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), with a net volume of 33.94 million shares. Then, PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) both reported a net volume of 32 million shares after foreign investors sold 38.67 million ERAA and 42.85 million BRMS, respectively. Finally, the net volume of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares was recorded at 22.90 million, even though foreigners purchased around 50.41 million shares.

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) shares, on the other hand, trailed GIAA with the lowest net volume, at -24.07 million. According to reports, foreign investors sold more than 44.47 million BBCA shares. Furthermore, the following three issuers had a net volume of around minus 11 to 13 million shares, namely PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), whose shares were sold for around 15.36 million; PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), with 14.29 million shares sold; and PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), whose 22.10 million shares were released by international investors.
