JAKARTA - On Friday, March 3, net foreign volume remained positive, with a surplus of 721,938,900 shares. Foreign investor purchases totaled 2.46 billion shares, while shares sold totaled 1.74 billion. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares have once again become the shares with the highest foreign purchase volume, 1.48 billion, and the highest net volume, 756.66 million shares. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), in contrast, had the highest foreign sales with 76.08 million shares and the lowest net volume of -47.48 million shares.

Despite GOTO's fantastic net volume, the other top-buy shares had net volumes of only 20–30 million shares. Bank Amar shares came in second with a net volume of 33.82 million shares after foreign investors purchased 34.37 million shares of PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR). Furthermore, they also purchased PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) shares in a quantity as high as 56.91 million, bringing the net volume to around 31.64 million shares. Then, with a very small sales volume, as many as 21.19 million shares of PT Menthobi Karyatama Raya Tbk (MKTR) were purchased, bringing the net volume to around 21.09 million shares. In addition, with a net volume of around 20.57 million shares, around 20.97 million shares of PT Pelayaran Nasional Ekalya Purnamasari Tbk (ELPI) were also acquired.

Foreign investors, on the other hand, were spotted selling 57.46 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and 40.72 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM). However, the volume of these two issuers is quite different, with BUMI being quite low at -31.29 million and TLKM being around -11.40 million. In addition, 37.09 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) were sold, for a net volume of -17.45 million shares. Finally, the sale of 30.86 million shares of PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) was offset by low purchases, resulting in a net volume of -28.02 million shares for ADMR. (KD)
