Prochiz to branch out to restaurant and food stalls
JAKARTA. PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU), the cheese manufacturer Prochiz, will establish a new line in the restaurant and food stall business.
Peter Wiradjaja, Corporate Secretary of KEJU, claimed that the new addition to its portfolio is intended to increase its performance in the future. “The company, as an enterprise engaged in the industry and trading sector, notices a business opportunity in the food stall segment that will be beneficial for the company, especially in increasing the company’s profitability,” he added in the official statement.
The products that will be sold in food stalls are processed foods and beverages that use ingredients produced by the company and GarudaFood. The trial of this food stall business will begin by opening a food stall in GarudaFood corner, followed by the establishment of new outlets in several strategic locations.
Wiradjaja said that this business transformation initiative is projected to drive the sales to reach IDR 1.46 trillion in 2023, IDR 5.11 trillion in 2023, and IDR 6.57 trillion in 2025.
“The company plans to rent a space for this business and pay with immaterial cost so that the transaction is not categorised as material and affiliate transaction, complying with the Financial Services Authority Regulation,” Wiradjaja added. (KR/ZH)
