MKNT to restructure subsidiaries
JAKARTA – PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT) will restructure its subsidiaries to help its business grow and enhance its performance.
Assyati Amadjida Tamimi M., Corporate Secretary of Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara, explained that the company has divested 51% of its shares, owned through PT Digifast Kreasi Indonesia (DKI), in PT Permata Ibu Optima (PIO). “We divested 765 million shares of IDR 10 each, equivalent to 51% of total issued and paid-up capital of PIO,” Tamimi said in the information disclosure quoted Thrusday (9/3).
Its portion in PIO was sold to PT Galaxy Reload Optima (GRO) and Doni Sepri Andra Belekaputra, in which the former received 764.99 million shares, and the latter one unit of share. From this transaction, DKI gained extra IDR 7.65 billion.
MKNT is the owner of 75% of 520,000 shares of DKI and 25% of PT Indonesia Teknologi Persada (ITP). Now, DKI reportedly has a claim over 51% of 1.5 billion shares of PIO and 49% of GRO. (LK/ZH)
