JAKARTA. The management of PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU) claimed that it managed to restructure IDR 1.02 trillion credits in 2022. Out of IDR 33 billion of total non-performing loans (NPL), IDR 32.7 billion are considered as loss.

In the 2022 Financial Report of NOBU, it is said that NPL in 2022, amounting to IDR 33 billion, had shrunk 22% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 42.61 billion seen in 2021. Bank Nobu also reported restructured credits of IDR 1.02 trillion in all categories throughout 2022, which had decreased 15.26% yoy from IDR 1.21 trillion in December 2021.

In general, NOBU had restructured current loans of IDR 948.71 billion and restructured special-mention loans of IDR 45.76 billion in 2022. It also improved its loan restructuring portfolio, recording substandard credits of IDR 150 million, doubtful credits of IDR 577 million, and losses of IDR 32.27 billion.

In 2022, NOBU managed to increase credit channelling rate of 26.4% yoy to IDR 12.40 trillion. This condition is balanced out by quality improvement, indicated by the decrease of gross NPL rate from 0.58% in 2021 to 0.41% in 2022. Then, the net NPL also went down from 0.38% in 2021 to 0.33% in 2022. (AM/ZH)
