Bank Julius Baer becomes a new investor, purchasing one million shares of Sillo Maritime (SHIP)
JAKARTA - On Friday, March 3, PT Sillo Maritime Perdana (SHIP) welcomed a new investor. This issuer, which provides sea transportation services, managed to grab the interest of Bank Julius Baer and Co. Ltd., Singapore, so this new investor purchased 1 billion shares and controlled approximately 36.7% of SHIP. WH Investments Pte Ltd also purchased PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk (CMNT) shares in a massive amount, totaling 1.9 billion shares. This Singaporean investor's controlling stake increased from 76.28% to 87.37%. Tolaram Group Inc., another Singapore-based investor, also added 20 million shares to PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR).
Meanwhile, the largest share sale was made by PT Totalindo Investama Persada, which sold 1.2 billion shares of PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS). This majority shareholder's ownership percentage then fell from 51.02% to 47.42%. GOTO Peopleverse Fund has also been seen selling PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares, totaling 66.63 million shares this time.
On a lower scope, Auric Digital Retail Pte Ltd sold 27.99 million shares of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF), while UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd sold 23,21 million shares of PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) and 3.93 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP). Morgan Stanley and Co. International Plc, another foreign investor, sold 48,900 shares of PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM). Finally, PT ASABRI (Persero) sold 192,700 shares of jewelry company PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA). (KD)
