JAKARTA - Individual investors with more than 5% ownership went on a shopping spree on Tuesday, March 7, and two of them are new shareholders. Ann Jessica Chan acquired 5.02% of PT Indonesian Tobacco Tbk (ITIC) after purchasing 47.18 million shares, while Roy Octavian acquired 36.84 million shares of PT Geoprima Solusi Tbk (GPSO), giving this new investor 5.53% ownership. Furthermore, Prajogo Pangestu, the controlling shareholder of PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), purchased 5 million shares, slightly increasing his ownership to 71.16%. Lo Kheng Hong also increased his stake in PT Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) by 300,000 shares, and Low Tuck Kwong purchased an additional 122 thousand shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN).

Furthermore, two foreign investors were also seen purchasing shares. To begin, Tolaram Group Inc., a Singaporean investor, and controlling shareholder purchased 30 million shares of PT Bank Amar Indonesia Tbk (AMAR). Infinite Fund Management Pty Limited then expanded its holdings by buying 5,999,000 shares of PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR).

The GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on the other hand, initiated the short list of foreign investors selling shares by selling 40.63 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Finally, Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore released 2.41 million shares of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL), while UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd sold 1.92 million shares of PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP).
