JAKARTA - The volume of shares bought by foreign investors exceeded 3 billion shares on Monday, March 13. The total number of shares sold was around 2.7 billion, bringing the positive foreign net volume to nearly 300 million, or 297,819,900 shares to be exact. PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the highest net volume this time, with 141.28 million shares, followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) with 107.94 million shares. Nonetheless, foreign investors purchased the two shares in vastly different quantities, with GOTO totaling over 1.8 billion shares and BUMI totaling only about 142.05 million.

Foreign investors also purchased 81.74 million shares in the telecommunications company PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM), but only a net volume of around 31.91 million shares was achieved. Furthermore, they purchased up to 48.23 million shares of palm oil issuer PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), with a relatively large net volume of 46.98 million shares. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), a subsidiary of BUMI, is also attractive to foreign investors, having sold 30.01 million shares with a net volume of 20.60 million.

In contrast, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) had the lowest net volume, with -24.90 million shares, after foreign investors sold approximately 30.49 million shares. Meanwhile, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) actually had the highest foreign sales volume, at 72.38 million shares, with a net volume of -12.47 million shares. The investors also sold shares of other state-owned companies, namely 40.21 million shares of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) and 24.38 million shares of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT). BMRI had a net volume of -9.73 million, while WSKT had a volume of -16.93 million. Finally, they also let go of 10.29 million shares of PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN). There were only 100 thousand MDLN shares purchased, bringing the net volume to -10.19 million. (KD)
