JAKARTA – The profit of PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (PRDA) was seen slipping off 40.37% to IDR 371.62 billion in December 2022, compared to IDR 623.23 billion seen in December 2021. Despite the efficiency of its costs of revenue, the profit still declined following decreased revenue.

In the 2022 Financial Report quoted Thursday (16/3), PRDA's revenue arrived at IDR 2.18 trillion, shifting from IDR 2.65 trillion in 2021. The gross and operating profit in 2022 were recorded at IDR 1.32 trillion and IDR 447.04 billion. For comparison, in 2021, both arrived at IDR 1.64 trillion and IDR 758.68 billion.

PRDA saw decreases in all business segments, including laboratory services that have become the pillar of the company. Laboratory services contributed IDR 1.93 trillion, sliding off from IDR 2.39 trillion. Meanwhile, its revenue from non-laboratoy services shyly climbed from IDR 228.97 billion to IDR 233.72 billion, contrasting with the clinic revenue that massively shrank from IDR 23.37 billion to IDR 8.20 billion.
