Matahari Department Store to launch 2 new stores in Semarang

JAKARTA. PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF), one of retail issuers of Lippo Group, has officially introduced 2 new outlets in Semarang, located in The Park Semarang and Uptown Mall BSB City.

Terry O'Connor, CEO of LPPF, claimed that both new outlets will reinforce the company's position as a progressive retail company. "We believe that the establishment of Matahari in Semarang will offer additional value to our wide scope of customers to celebrate Eid this year," he explained in the official statement.

Until now, there have been 4 new stores opened by LPPF this year. The company aims to establish 7 other stores by Eid 2023.

To commemorate the opening of both new outlets in Semarang, LPPF is setting up many offers for its customers. They range from shopping vouchers, merchandise, discounts for certain payment methods, and loyalty point rewards.

According to data received by IDNFinancials, LPPF has managed 152 outlets,. All those stores are spread across different regions in Indonesia. On top of its offline stores, the company has been optimising its online sales within these past years. (KR/ZH)
