JAKARTA. PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) announces its plan to distribute cash dividend of IDR 609.01 billion that will be taken out of net profit in 2022.

Arman Setiadi, Head of Reporting and Community Development Department of BBTN, claimed that said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting that was held on March 16, 2023. In said meeting, shareholders agreed upon the allocation of 20% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

The cum dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to March 29, 2023, followed by cum date in the cash market n March 30, 2023. The cash dividend disbursement will take place on April 14, 2023, in which each share is exchangeable with a dividend of IDR 43.39.

Based on IDNFinancials data, BBTN booked net profit of IDR 3.05 trillion in 2022. Furthermore, the company also recorded retained earnings of IDR 3.2 trillion, as well as total equity of IDR 25.91 trillion.

The Indonesian government, through the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) controls 60% of series B shares of BBTN. Meanwhile, public investors claim 39.98% of shares, while Nixon L. P. Napitupulu owns another 0.02%. (KR/ZH)
