JAKARTA - On Wednesday, March 15, the difference in foreign trade volume was slight. Foreign investors bought 2.71 billion shares while selling 2.67 billion, for a net foreign volume surplus of 44,716,000 shares. PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) had the highest net volume, with 240.63 million shares, and foreign buying totaling 261.74 million shares. Meanwhile, foreign investors sold 1.58 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), resulting in the lowest net volume of -53.83 million shares.

Other shares from the top-buy list were bought by foreign investors in the range of 20 million shares. With 27.56 million shares bought, PT Wir Asia Tbk (WIRG) came in second, followed by PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) with 26.72 million. The two issuers also had comparable net volumes, with 23.55 million WIRG and 21.22 million ERAA shares. Two other issuers, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS), only reported a net volume of around 17 million shares. According to reports, foreign investors purchased 22.30 million shares of ACES and 19.09 million shares of BRMS.

On the other hand, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) had the second-highest foreign sales volume, with 54.41 million and a net volume of -23.97 million. Nevertheless, PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) had a lower net volume than BBCA, namely -31.21 million shares after foreigners sold 49.39 million shares. The next two issuers' shares were sold without any foreign purchase. Shares of PT Surya Permata Andalan Tbk (NATO) were sold for around 22.61 million, while shares of PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa Tbk (WMPP) were sold for more than 19.65 million.
