JAKARTA – PT Multipolar Tbk (MLPL) recorded revenue of IDR 10.9 trillion in 2022, 5.3% year-on-year (yoy) higher than IDR 10.3 trillion reported in 2021. On the contrary, the net profit attributable to the parent company shrank 24.85%.

In the press release quoted Monday (20/3), ANdrian Suherman, President Director of Multipolar, claimed that the revenue growth resulted from consistently solid performance shown by the retail business, as well as the integration system.

However, the net profit attributable to the company only clocked up to IDR 151.2 billion, slipping off from IDR 201.25 billion in 2021.

Based on the financial report, in 2022, MLPL recorded current year’s loss of IDR 60.66 billion, declining from IDR 25.99 billion of net profit scored in 2021.

MLPL’s business line that contributed the most to the 2022 revenue was retail and distribution of IDR 7.05 trillion. Then, the subsidiaries in the information technology sector generated IDR 3.37 trillion, followed by administration and others of IDR 427.61 billion. (LK/ZH)
