JAKARTA - Beginning in the last week of March, foreign investors purchased 2.37 billion shares of Indonesian issuers and sold 1.79 billion shares. On Monday, March 27, foreign net volume was likewise in surplus of 582.19 million shares. This figure was largely influenced by foreign investment in PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), which totaled 893.04 million shares. GOTO's net volume is fairly high, at approximately 339.48 million. GOTO and PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares are selling nicely for foreigners at the moment. Foreign investors own 146.98 million shares of this mining holdings issuer, with a net volume of roughly 80 million shares.

Another foreign spending was made on 53.40 million shares of PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk (NSSS), bringing the company's net volume to 41.35 million shares. Next, the following two issuers, film issuer PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM) and mining issuer PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), both had a net volume of roughly 35–36 million. Foreign investors reportedly purchased 38.42 million FILM shares and 48.62 million ANTM shares.

Foreign investors, on the other side, sold 40.20 million shares of PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA). This air transport provider company also has the lowest net volume, with -20.39 million shares. This figure was followed by PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), which had a net volume of -18.52 million shares after foreigners sold up to 21.28 million shares. Furthermore, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) and PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) also documented a net volume of -14 million shares each, albeit in differing quantities sold to foreigners. At least 25,72 million ASII shares were sold, while BMRI shares were sold at 41.89 million. Finally, 14.03 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG) were also sold, for a net volume of around -10.91 million. (KD)
