Economy recovers, IPCM's net profit climbed 10%
JAKARTA. PT Jasa Armada Terminal Tbk (IPCM) scored a net profit of IDR 150.6 billion in the fiscal year 2022, increasing 10% year-on-year (yoy) or from 2021.
Shanti Puruhita, President Director of IPCM, claimed that the company's performance was propelled by expanding market. "As well as the recovering economy in 2022," she added in the official statement received by IDNFinancials.
From its top-line, IPCM's revenue was recorded at IDR 980 billion in 2022, moving up 19.5% yoy from IDR 820 billion.
Most of IPCM's revenue in 2022 came from general port services, contributing IDR 504 billion or 51.4% of total revenue. Then, the private terminal services generated IDR 171 billion, followed by the vessel maintenance services of IDR 54 billion, and other marine services of IDR 51 billion.
Throughout 2022, IPCM had launched 3 units of pilot boats and 1 unit of new barge. On top of this, the company has also entered several strategic partnerships.
One of the partnerships include the joint cooperation in services in Teluk Weda with PT Langlang Laju Layang. This partnership is said to be the first step towards IPCM's business expansion to eastern Indonesia. (KR/ZH)
