JAKARTA. PT IMC Pelita Logistik Tbk (PSSI), previously known as PT Pelita Samudera Shipping, managed to gain net profit of USD 42.33 million in 2022.

PSSI’s net profit in 2022 shifted 69% year-on-year (yoy) from USD 25.04 million seen in 2021. The net profit of PSSI in 2022 was supported by the operating revenue that amounted to USD 119.3 million.

Iriawan Ibarat, President Director of PSSI, admitted that 2022 is a year full of challenges. “However, the company still managed to post an impressive result. The most recent annual report holds the highest record in the company’s history,” he added.

PSSI’s net profit was also supported by the recurring cost efficiency. It was indicated through the cost of revenue that only grew 3% yoy in 2022.

Until December 31, 2022, PSSI’s total assets proliferated 11% yoy to USD 179.3 million, while also holding cash and cash equivalent of USD 30.5 million. Meanwhile, the total equity in 2022 was equivalent to USD 145.88 million. (KR/ZH)
