JAKARTA. Alfamart retail network manager, PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk. (AMRT) managed to achieve a significant growth in net profit performance of 48% to IDR 2.88 trillion by the end of 2022.

Based on the financial report as of 31 December 2022, AMRT's net revenue reached IDR 96.92 trillion, an increase of 14.15% compared to IDR 84.90 trillion in 2021. The increase in revenue was contributed by growth in food sales reaching 18.11% (year-on-year = YoY) to IDR 67.33 trillion, compared to 2021 of IDR 57 trillion. Non-food sales grew 6.12% to IDR 29.59 trillion in 2022, from IDR 27.88 trillion in the previous year.

In line with the increase in revenue, AMRT posted an increase in cost of revenue of 14.21% to IDR 76.90 trillion, from IDR 67.32 trillion at the end of 2021 so that gross profit was IDR 20.02 trillion or an increase of 13.92% and operating profit increased by 35. 42% to IDR 3.77 trillion.

In the end, AMRT recorded profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of IDR 2.88 or a 48.25% jump from the previous year's achievement of IDR 1.92 trillion. (AM/LM)
