The April net foreign volume started at minus 21 million shares
JAKARTA - The fourth month of this year began with a negative 21,362,000 share net foreign volume. Foreign trade transactions looked relatively stable on Monday, April 3, with a total of 1.89 billion shares purchased and 1.91 billion shares sold. The largest net volume this time came from PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares. Foreign buyers purchased 98.31 million BBRI shares, with a net volume of 53.20 million shares. Shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), on the other hand, had the lowest net volume, at -136.52 million shares, after foreigners sold 745.20 million shares.
Following GOTO, foreign buyers sold 73.35 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), for a net volume of -26.85 million shares. Furthermore, while the shares of PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) and PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) were both sold for 31 million shares, CPRO's net volume remained at -31.02 million due to zero purchases, while ADMR's was minus nearly 30 million. Foreign investors also sold 36.33 million shares of PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), even though the net volume of FREN was only -15.82 million shares due to the relatively high volume of shares bought.
Meanwhile, foreign investors bought 41.12 million shares of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) and 39.28 million shares of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (ENRG), resulting in a net volume surplus of 23 million shares for both companies. Foreign spending on PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) shares was also quite high, totaling 47.14 million shares, although the net volume was only around 21.20 million shares. Finally, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) completed the top buy list with a net volume of 19.77 million shares after foreigners purchased 25.82 million of this issuer's shares. (KD)
