JCI walks right into the red zone
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (lit. Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan/IHSG) closed weakly at 11.29 AM WIB in today’s (6/4) first session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The index dropped right after gaining strength at the early minutes of the trading session.
According to the IDX data compiled by IDNFinancials today (6/4), JCI was corrected 0.46%, as were other indexes, including IDX30 of -0.49%, IDXESGL of -0.6%, and LQ45 -0.42%. Other indexes that showed solid trend are IDXBUMN20 with 0.10% increment, IDXV30 of 0.27%, and IDX30 of 0.01%.
At 10 AM WIB, JCI started to decline to 6,814.23 from 6,827.02 seen during the opening’s bell. At 11.29 AM WIB, it continued the journey down south to 6,788.24.
Some of the issuers that reportedly got weaker in today’s session I are PT Mulia Boga Raya Tbk (KEJU), PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), and PT Aviana Sinar Abadi Tbk (IRSX). Meanwhile, others that still managed to stand their ground are PT Indonesia Tobacco Tbk (ITIC) and PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia Tbk (ISSP). (LK/ZH)
