GMFI faced PKPU lawsuit
JAKARTA – PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (GMFI) is sued with Suspension of Debt Payment Obligation (lit. Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang/PKPU) claim by PT Berkah Altama (BA) in the Central Jakarta Commercial Court. The lawsuit has been filed under case No.108/Ptd.Sus-PKPU/2023/PN Niaga Jkt Pst since yesterday (3/4).
Quoting the official website of the Central Jakarta Commercial Court today (6/4), BA reportedly requested temporary PKPU status for 45 days for GMFI after the decision was read. On top of this, it requested the judges to appoint three curators and administrators officially listed in the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as the team that will manage the PKPU process of GMFI.
Similar claim was field against GMFI by PT Tigo Agra Gemilang (TAG) on march 15, 2023. TAG’s lawsuit was filed on March 10, 2023 under case No.86/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2023/PN Niaga Jkt Pst. TAG is represented by its legal advisor, Muhammad Fikri Alfarizi.
Rian Fajar Isnaeni, VP Corporate Secretary & Legal of GMFI, claimed that TAG’s claim will not significantly affect the operational and financial condition of the company, including the going-concern of GMFI. “The company is still committed to maintain operational activities and provide optimal services,” he said.
