JAKARTA. PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk (BDMN), one of banks under Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG), will distribute cash dividend of IDR 1.16 trillion taken out of the 2022 net profit.

Hendy Deiny Wong, Corporate Secretary Lead of BDMN, claimed the plan is in line with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting last month. Each one share will be given IDR 118.26 in exchange.

The cash dividend will be given to BDMN's investors whose names have entered the official shareholders list by the recording date on April 13, 2023. Then, the money will be disbursed on May 4, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, the amount of cash dividend distributed by BDMN is higher than last year. For the fiscal year 2021, the company had distributed IDR 550.59 billion of dividend or IDR 56.33 per share.

As of now, 92.47% of BDMN's shares are under the control of MUFG Bank Ltd. Public investors only claim 7.29% of the shares, leaving the small remaining portion to several directors and commissioners. (KR/ZH)
