JAKARTA - On Wednesday, April 5, foreign trade volume appeared to be lower than in prior days. The overall number of shares purchased was only 1.67 billion, while the total number of shares sold was 1.51 billion. With 162,585,700 sheets, foreign net volume was also slightly in surplus. This time, the leading and second-best-selling shares are BUMI and BBRI. Foreign investors have purchased 87.71 million shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and 83.15 million shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI). However, BBRI had the highest net volume this time, with 56.68 million shares, while BUMI had a net volume of roughly 38.73 million shares.

Furthermore, foreigners purchased up to 80.47 million shares of PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA), with a net volume of roughly 40.55 million. Foreign investors are also interested in 55.47 million shares of PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) and 47.79 million shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) this time. The net volume for the two issuers was 45.44 million ANTM and 36.88 million TLKM.

PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) has maintained its position as the stock that foreign investors sell the most. This time, at least 571.70 million GOTO shares were released, with a net volume of around -167.70 million. PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) came in second with a net volume of -23.30 million after 24.85 million shares were released by foreigners. They also sold 18 million shares in three issuers: PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), and PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI). PGAS and BULL both had a negative net volume of roughly 12 million shares, while BIPI had a negative net volume of around 10 million shares. (KD)
