PTPP wrapped up Q1 with IDR 4.08 trillion of new contracts
JAKARTA - PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk (PTPP) secured new contracts worth IDR 4.08 trillion at the end of the first quarter of 2023. The new contracts’ value rose 32.13% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 3.09 trillion recorded in 2021.
Bakhtiyar Efendi, Corporate Secretary of PTPP, claimed that the company is quite optimistic about the total new contracts obtainable by the end of this year after seeing the number of new contracts at the end of Q1 2023. “The company will focus on several strategic projects owned by the government and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to maximise the obtainment of new contracts,” he said.
Some of contracts with impressive value came from the Office of Ministry of State Secretariat in IKN worth IDR 835 billion as well as the East Port Lamongan Phase IA and IB worth IDR 767 billion. Office building projects made up 50% of total new projects in 2022, followed by ports of 20.35%, roads and bridges of 17.07%, irrigation system of 6.04%, water reservoirs of 3.33%, industrial projects of 2.38%, and oil-gas of 0.83%.
All in all, government’s projects covered 64% of total new contracts, followed by private sector of 36%, and SOEs of 12%. PTPP contributed 85.53% to the total new contracts, whereas the remaining 14.47% came from PTPP’s subsidiaries. (LK/ZH)
