JAKARTA. PT Volta Indonesia Semesta (Volta), an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer under PT M Cash Integrasi Tbk (MCAS), has collaborated with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) to offer an EV credit.

Through this collaboration, Bank Mandiri will provide means to purchase Volta EV in its own mobile application, Livin’ by Mandiri. “This collaboration is intended to provide easier access for users to acquire their EV,” Aquarius Rudianto, Director of Network and Retail Banking of BMRI, stated.

Rudianto then added that this collaboration is a way for BMRI to show its support for government’s program, which includes the utilisation of 2 million electric vehicles by 2025.

Iwan Suryaputra, CEO of Volta, claimed that this EV credit collaboration with BMRI will promote the transition to clean energy. “We believe that solid partnership and strong commitment between Volta and Bank Mandiri will be able to accelerate the transition to EV utilisation in Indonesia,” he added.
