JAKARTA. Two garment and textile companies under Trisula Group, PT Trisula Textile Industries Tbk (BELL) and PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS), will distribute dividend together with the total amount of IDR 23.8 billion.

BELL will disburse cash dividend of IDR 3.63 billion, whereas TRIS channels out IDR 20.23 billion.

Widjaya Djohan, President Director of TRIS, explained that TRIS’s dividend is equal to 31% of its net profit in the fiscal year 2022. It complies with the result of the shareholders meeting held yesterday (10/4). “The amount of the allocated dividend this year increased 268% from IDR 5.5 billion disbursed in 2021,” he added in the official statement.

Similar to TRIS, BELL also increased its dividend this year to IDR 3.63 billion. In the fiscal year 2021, the company only allocated cash dividend of IDR 2.03 billion.

According to IDNFinancials record, the increased dividends are in accordance with their net profit growth in 2022. TRIS’s net profit in 2022 increased 258% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 54.52 billion from IDR 18.02 billion in 2021. BELL mimicked this trend, reporting 9% yoy increment in its net profit from IDR 2.45 billion to IDR 2.66 billion. (KR/ZH)
