JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Geothermal Tbk (PGEO) will reassign the carbon credit from PLTP Lahendong Unit 5 and 6 to PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI) worth USD 1.93 million. PPI is the owner of 69.01% of PGEO’s issued and paid-up capital.

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (13/4), the transaction of the carbon credit transfer from Lahendong Unit 5 and 6 had been approved by the board of directors of the holding. PPI is ordered by PT Pertamina (Persero) as carbon credit aggregator in Pertamina Group.

The volume of the transferred carbon credit clocks up to 1,498,940 Verra Registry Unit (VRU). The transaction value is equal to 0.002% of PGEO’s equity worth USD 1.25 billion that was recorded in December 2022. Therefore, this affiliate transaction is not considered to be a material transaction according to Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) No.17/2020. (LK/ZH)
