JAKARTA. PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), an automotive component manufacturer under Astra Group, will distribute cash dividend of IDR 530 billion that is taken out of the net profit in 2022.

This plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of AUTO held last Tuesday (11/4). In this meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate approximately 40% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

AUTO had previously distributed interim dividend of IDR 106.03 billion, or IDR 22 per share, on October 24, 2022. Therefore, the upcoming dividend is the final dividend of a total of IDR 4242.14 billion or IDR 88 per share.

The final dividend shall be disbursed to AUTO’s shareholders whose names have been registered under Official Shareholders List on April 28, 2023. The detailed schedule of the final dividend will be announced in the near future.

According to IDNFinancials data, AUTO recorded a net profit of IDR 1.33 trillion in 2022. The net profit in this period was 117% year-on-year (yoy) higher.

Until December 31, 2022, AUTO was reported having total assets of IDR 18.52 trillion, while the total equity reached IDR 13.05 trillion. (KR/ZH)
