JAKARTA - After being in the negative 551 million the day before, net foreign volume on Friday, April 14, was actually in the positive 552,990,100 shares. The number of shares purchased by foreign investors exceeded 3.38 billion, while the number of shares sold was only 2.83 billion. Surprisingly, GOTO shares also showed a surplus this time, totaling 229.69 million shares after foreign investors purchased 1.76 billion of these PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) shares. In contrast, PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA) had the lowest net volume, at -226.80 million, after foreigners sold as many as 268.43 million GIAA shares.

Following closely behind GOTO were significant purchases of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI). There were 181.27 million BUMI shares and 150.12 million BBRI shares that entered foreign portfolios, with a net volume of approximately 136.31 million BUMI and 100.24 million BBRI. Furthermore, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) shares got a net volume of 65.91 million, while PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) got 51.23 million shares, even though both companies similarly reported foreign expenditure volumes of around 80 to 85 million shares.

Meanwhile, the shares of PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI) and PT Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (ESSA) both reported a net volume of around -23 million shares on the list of top-selling stocks. However, foreign investors sold 36.78 million WIFI shares this time, slightly more than ESSA, whose 29.05 million shares were sold. Similar net volumes of around -14 million shares were reported by PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO) and PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN). Investors from overseas reportedly sold 18.23 million ARTO shares and 22.40 million MNCN shares. (KD)
