JAKARTA. PT iForte Solusi Infotek (iForte), a subsidiary of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR), has signed a conditional sale and purchase agreement (CSPA) for 60% of PT Varnion Technology Semesta's shares.

Monalisa Irawan, Corporate Secretary of TOWR, said that in accordance with the CSPA, iForte as the buyer will take over 60% of Varnion's shares.

Silvi Liswanda, Deputy President Director of iForte, said that this corporate action is believed to strengtheniForte's position as a fiber optic-based telecommunication infrastructure company. The reason, said Liswanda, is that Varnion already has a strong position and brand for business connectivity in the hospitality industry.

Liswanda said, iForte already owns and operates 155,000 kilometers of fiber optic network, which has served around 3,000 corporate customers. "We are optimistic that the iForte and Varnion collaboration will have a positive impact and produce new breakthroughs for customers, especially for customers from the hospitality industry," explained Liswanda.

Meanwhile, Hartono, Director of iForte and Chief of Business Development of the Protelindo Group, said that this collaboration is Protelindo Group's commitment to continue to grow into an integrated telecommunications infrastructure company. "Our focus at Protelindo Group is to always provide benefits and accelerate business growth for our company," said Hartono. (KR/LM)
