Q1 ended, RS Hermina saw 5.85% yoy decline
JAKARTA – Although its revenue went 10.57% year-on-year (yoy) higher, PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL) saw a decline in its net profit by 5.85% yoy in Q1 2023.
In its Financial Report of Q1 2023 quoted Wednesday (26/4), HEAL's revenue was reported at IDR 1.35 trillion, shifting from IDR 1.20 trillion seen in the same period last year. The revenue from the hospital segment clocked up to IDR 1.31 trillion, increasing from IDR 1.18 trillion in Q1 2022, similar to the non-hospital segment that shifted IDR 25.5 billion to IDR 33 billion.
More specifically, the revenue from the hospital segment consisted of inpatient services of IDR 780.10 billion, up from IDR 760.16 billion seen in Q1 2022, as well as outpatient services of IDR 539.30 billion, growing from IDR 423.32 billion.
HEAL's gross profit arrived at IDR 506.24 billion, a slight climb from IDR 502.28 billion in Q1 2022. Meanwhile, its operating profit dropped from IDR 212.17 billion to IDR 197.59 billion due to the decreased revenue from other segments, compared to the same period last year.
Then, the profit before income taxes also decreased from IDR 185.90 billion to IDR 173.45 billion, as did its net profit from IDR 144.86 billion to IDR 136.84 billion. The net profit attributable to the parent entity was recorded at IDR 108.90 billion, down from IDR 111.27 billion, while non-controllers got IDR 27.94 billion, sliding off from IDR 33.62 billion in Q1 2022.
