A new investor, United Overseas Bank Nominees, took over 50% of Arthavest (ARTA)
JAKARTA - On Thursday, April 13, the market emphasised the purchase of 223,337,000 shares of PT Arthavest Tbk (ARTA) by United Overseas Bank Nominees (Private) Limited. By taking ownership from the controlling shareholder, Lucas SH CN, this Singaporean foreign investor became the new owner of 50% of the investment company's shares. Previously, Lucas owned 88.69% of ARTA, but the share sale reduced his ownership to 38.69%.
Furthermore, PT Abadimukti Gunalestari, the majority shareholder in PT Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (GPRA), increased its investment in this property issuer by 40.82 million shares, bringing its ownership percentage to 67.7%. UOB Kay Hian (Hong Kong) Ltd., a foreign investor, also purchased 12.39 million shares in aquaculture issuer PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO). PT Akulaku Silvrr Indonesia then purchased an additional 2.46 million shares of PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk (BBYB).
The property management issuer, PT Jaya Real Property Tbk (JRPT), then carried out the buyback action by purchasing 891,300 of its own shares, resulting in a 5.45% control of the shares. Furthermore, 120,000 shares of ceramic issuer PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) were purchased by PT Suprakreasi Eradinamika, and Low Tuck Kwong also added 111,700 shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) to his personal portfolios.
The GOTO Peopleverse Fund, on the other hand, persists in taking a divestment after selling 28.94 million shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO). Morgan Stanley and Co. International Plc, a foreign investor, also sold 180,400 shares of the production house issuer PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM). (KD)
