JAKARTA – PT Arwana Citramulia Tbk (ARNA) recorded net profit of IDR 146.68 billion in Q1 2023, shifting 17.63% down from IDR 17.55 billion seen in the same period last year. The profit slippage resulted from the similar trend in the revenue, down by 12.69% year-on-year (yoy).

In the Financial Report of Q1 2023 of ARNA quoted today (26/4), the revenue was seen at IDR 659.83 billion, decreasing from IDR 643.60 billion. The revenue decline was seen across all consumer segments, including the related party, PT Catur Sentosa Adiprana Tbk (CSAP), as well as other third parties.

In Q1 2023, sales in Java contributed IDR 364.85 billion to the revenue, followed by IDR 294.97 billion of sales obtained from outside Java. In the same period in 2022, sales in Java clocked up to IDR 302.31 billion, while outside Java brought in IDR 441.29 billion.

ARNA also booked gross profit of IDR 268.04 billion, slipping from IDR 301.74 billion in Q1 2022. Meanwhile, its operating profit shifted from IDR 218.68 billion to IDR 184.41 billion in Q1 2023. Furthermore, its profit before taxes also declined from IDR 220.96 billion to IDR 187.83 billion. (LK/ZH)
