JAKARTA – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) scored IDR 1.25 trillion of profit in Q1 2023, massively skyrocketing from the same period in 2022 that recorded a loss of IDR 495.17 billion.

The data compiled by IDNFinancials on Thursday (27/4) showed that the net revenue in Q1 2023 clocked up to IDR 3.78 trillion, shyly climbing from IDR 3.31 trillion in Q1 2022. The gross and operating profit were recorded at IDR 1.58 trillion and IDR 1.86 trillion, both shifting upwards from IDR 1.35 trillion and IDR 80.25 billion in Q1 2022.

The primary contributor to the total revenue in Q1 2023 was the healthcare segment, generating IDR 2.65 trillion, followed by real estate development of IDR 864.46 billion and lifestyle of IDR 296.24 billion. In the Q1 2022, the healthcare segment only contributed IDR 2.21 trillion to the revenue, followed by real estate development of IDR 864.87 billion and lifestyle of IDR 249.17 billon.

In the same period in 2021, this company, which belongs to the renowned tycoon Muchtar Riady, booked IDR 3.41 trillion of revenue and IDR 256 billion of net profit. The real estate development generated IDR 2.56 trillion of revenue, shifting from IDR 2.39 trillion in Q1 2020, similar to the contribution of the healthcare segment that rose from IDR 1.88 trillion to IDR 1.91 trillion.
