JAKARTA - SGMC VCC puts in higher amount of investment, reaching IDR 17.31 billion, for the acquisition of 4.53% of PT Era Digital Media Tbk (AWAN) last week (18/4). Said investor is said to be a Singapore-based company.

In the information disclosure quoted Thursday (4/5), Yunika Rima, Director of AWAN, confirmed that SGMC VCC secured 157,426,500 shares worth IDR 110 per share. Its ownership now increases to 478.73 million shares or 13.93% from 321.31 million shares or 9.35%.

AWAN is an issuer that just made its debut on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on April 18, 2023. The information technology service and application provider listed 3.43 billion shares, consisting of 2.68 billion of the founders and 750 million shares of public investors.

After IPO, AWAN’s issued and paid-up capital clocks up to IDR 34.35 billion, 78.16% of which is controlled by PT Rajati Alia Kapital, followed by Yunika Rima of 0.01% and the public of 21.83%. The authorised capital is set to IDR 50 billion, while the stock in its portfolio is worth IDR 15.65 billion. (LK/ZH)
