GOTO and ELIT shares were sold by their two big investors, respectively
JAKARTA - On Tuesday, May 2, two investors who own more than 5% of the company released shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) and PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT). For GOTO, the Government of Singapore became the first investor to sell shares via Citibank Singapore. This international investor was no longer holding 624.04 million GOTO shares as they decided to sell them. Following that, the GOTO Peopleverse Fund seemed to be selling GOTO shares as well, with as many as 189.16 million shares being released. Meanwhile, PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT) investors who reduced their stake this time are individual investors. Thomas Irawan Tjahjono and Hotman Hutapea SH sold 1.23 million and 844 thousand ELIT shares, respectively.
Furthermore, two controlling shareholders decided to reduce their investments. First, PT Darbe Putra Makmur sold 5.55 million shares of PT Darmi Bersaudara Tbk (KAYU), a wood producer and processing issuer. Then, PT Ungaran Sari Garments, which owns more than 96% of textile issuer PT Eratex Djaja Tbk (ERTX), dumped 3.65 million ERTX shares.
Two other controlling shareholders, on the other hand, chose to increase the number of shares. PT Merdeka Energi Nusantara purchased 99.15 million shares of PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk (MBMA), increasing its ownership slightly to 49.42%. Then, as the majority shareholder of PT Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (GPRA), PT Abadimukti Gunalestari added a portfolio of approximately 30.15 million GPRA shares. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) stayed on to bring its own shares home, this time up to 2.5 million shares, while Morgan Stanley and Co. International Plc purchased 181,800 shares of production house issuer PT MD Pictures Tbk (FILM). (KD)
