Kalbe Farma to channel out IDR 1.75 trillion of dividend
JAKARTA. PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) announces its plan to distribute cash dividend of IDR 1.75 trillion or IDR 38 per share, which will be sourced out of the 2022 net profit.
Maria Teresa Fabiola, Corporate Secretary of KLBF, said that this plan aligns with the result of the 2022 Annual General Shareholders Meeting of KLBF. In this meeting, the shareholders collectively agreed to allocate 51.95% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.
The cash dividend will be disbursed to KLBF’s shareholders whose names have entered the Official Shareholders List on May 15, 2023 (recording date). The dividend payment will be made on May 31, 2023.
As of now, approximately 40.69% of KLBF is under the control of public investors with ownership of less than 5% each. Then, PT Ladang Ira Panen has another 10.46% of shares, followed by PT Gira Sole Prima of 10.29%, PT Santa Seha Sanadi of 10.07%, PT Diptanala Bahana of 9.50%, PT Lucasta Murni Cemerlang of 9.47%, PT Bina Arta Charisma of 8.20%, and another 1.32% of treasury stock.
On top of dividend distribution, the shareholders also agreed to allocate IDR 33.82 billion of the 2022 net profit as general reserves, leaving the remaining amount stored as retained earnings.
For the record, KLBF booked a net profit of IDR 3.38 trillion at the end of the fiscal year 2022. Until December 31, 2022, it still possessed retained earnings of IDR 20.19 trillion and total equity worth IDR 22.09 trillion. (KR/ZH)
