JAKARTA - PT Charoen Pokhpand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) will build a chicken meat processing plant over a piece of land of 82,922 m2 in Bojongkembar Village, Cikembar, West Java. Said land was acquired from its own President Commissioner, Hadi Gunawan Tjoe.

In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (10/5), said land plot comprises 10 different land certificates, all of which are located in Bojongkembar Village. The transaction’s value clocks up to IDR 45.60 billion, taking up internal cash of the company.

CPIN’s total assets until December 2022 amounted to IDR 39.84 trillion, shifting from IDR 35.44 trillion recorded in the same period in 2021. Meanwhile, the total equity also increased from IDR 25.14 trillion to IDR 26.32 trillion.

Hadi Gunawan Tjoe was appointed as President Commissioner of CPIN on the Annual General Shareholders Meeting on May 23, 2018. Before being assigned this position, Hadi Gunawan has been actively involved in the company since 1973. He is related to Ferdiansyah Gunawan Tjoe, Director of CPIN. (LK/ZH)
