JAKARTA. PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS) reveals its intention to distribute final dividend of IDR 710.99 billion that is taken out of the 2022 net profit.

Andre Taufan Pratama, Corporate Secretary of SSMS, said that this plan is in compliance with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of SSMS held last Monday (8/5). In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 77.4% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

For the record, SSMS had paid interim dividend of IDR 710.99 billion or IDR 74.64 per share. Thus, the total final dividend given by SSMS in the fiscal year of 2022 clocks up to IDR 1.42 trillion.

The final dividend will be channelled out to shareholders whose names have entered the official list by recording date of May 19, 2023. Then, the final dividend payment will be made on June 8, 2023. Each share will be granted IDR 74.64 of dividend.

According to IDNFinancials data, SSMS recorded net profit of IDR 1.84 trillion at the end of 2022. The company also secured retained earnings of IDR 3.62 trillion and total equity of IDR 6.44 trillion. (KR/ZH)
