JAKARTA. PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) will arrange a dividend distribution of IDR 32 per share or IDR 902.36 billion in total.

Sudjono, Corporate Secretary of BFIN, claimed that said plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held a couple days earlier. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 50% of the net profit gained in 2022 as cash dividend.

The recording date, or the last day in which the shareholders are listed eligible for dividend, has been set to May 29, 2023, while the dividend will be disbursed on June 15, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, BFIN posted IDR 1.81 trillion of net profit in 2022. At the end of the year, the company recorded IDR 7.8 trillion of retained earnings and IDR 8.76 trillion of total equity.

Until now, 51.12% of BFIN’s shares are under the control of Trinugraha Capital & Co SCA, while public investors, below 5%, share the remaining 48.88%. (KR/ZH)
