JAKARTA. PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk (SMSM) announces the final dividend distribution of IDR 143.97 billion or IDR 25 per share, which will be taken out of its net profit in 2022.

This plan aligns with the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting of SMSM held last week. In said meeting, the shareholders approved the plan to allocate 61% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

For the record, SMSM had previously distributed interim dividend of IDR 375.07 billion or IDR 65 per share back in 2022. Therefore, this upcoming dividend distribution will bring the total dividend in the fiscal year 2022 to IDR 518.04 billion or IDR 90 per share.

SMSM’s final dividend will be channelled out to shareholders registered by the recording date on May 31, 2023. Then, the final dividend payment will take place on June 14, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, SMSM recorded net profit of IDR 848.3 billion at the end of the fiscal year 2022. Last December, the company still held onto retained earnings of IDR 2.6 trillion and total equity of IDR 3.32 trillion. (KR/ZH)
