NCKL to lend IDR 194.27 billion to nickel mining company
JAKARTA. PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) has channelled a loan facility of IDR 194.27 billion to one of its subsidiaries engaged in the nickel mining business, PT Gane Permai Sentosa (GPS).
Said facility is given following the budgeting plan of the proceeds of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of NCKL. The funds will then be utilised for GPS’s capital expenditure.
The management of NCKL said that this facility has a tenor of 5 years and is charged with an interest rate of 8% per annum.
“It is to cover capital expenditure and routine operational activities, including but not limited to heavy equipment purchase, repair, and nickel mining infrastructure capacity enhancement,” they added in the official statement.
As of now, NCKL controls 70% of GPS, leaving another 30% to PT Harita Jayaraya.
According to IDNFinancials record, NCKL was just publicly listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last April. In this corporate action, the company managed to collect fresh funds of IDR 9.97 trillion. (KR/ZH)
