Allo Bank to cancel dividend distribution despite profit growth
JAKARTA – The shareholders agreed upon the decision of PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI) of not channelling any dividend, although its profit has consistently grown since the past three years.
The data from Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) compiled by IDNFinancials today (23/5) showed that this issuer managed to score IDR 270.02 billion of net profit in 2022. Most of the net profit, amounting to IDR 270 billion, is then allocated to retained earnings, while another IDR 29 million is saved as fund reserves.
In 2021, Allo Bank was seen collecting IDR 192.47 billion of net profit, IDR 192.45 billion of which was channelled to retained earnings and reserving another IDR 24.61 million.
In 2020, it also managed to gain IDR 37.01 billion of profit, the entirety of which was utilised as retained earnings, given the fact that the cumulative profit balance was at negative. (LK/ZH)
