Profit skyrockets, SDPC’s dividend doubles
JAKARTA – After scoring 155.6% year-on-year (yoy) surge in its 2022 net profit, PT Millennium Pharmacon International Tbk (SDPC) now readies the cash dividend distribution of IDR 2.55 billion.
According to the explanation of the Board of Directors of SDPC during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting today (25/5) in Jakarta, the company reportedly increased its net profit significantly from IDR 9.5 billion in 2021 to IDR 24.46 billion in December 2022. This profit surge occurs in accordance with the revenue increase of 7.09% yoy to IDR 3.2 trillion at the end of the fiscal year 2022.
Thanks to its 2022 achievement, the management of SDPC seems confident in distributing 10.41% of the net profit in 2022 as cash dividend. This allocation means that each shareholder will gain cash dividend of IDR 2 per share, twice the amount set in the fiscal year 2021.
On top of this, the meeting called for the allocation of IDR 2.548 billion of the total net profit as general reserves, while leaving the remaining net profit as retained earnings. “It is to be utilised for operational activities and working capital of the company,” Joefly Joesoef Bahrony, the Commissioner of SDPC present in the meeting, concluded.
