JAKARTA. PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI) announced the final dividend distribution plan of IDR 516.22 billion taken out of its 2022 net profit.

Heryatmita Sisdjiatmo Thalib, Corporate Secretary of MLBI, claimed that this plan follows the result of the Annual General Shareholders Meeting held a couple of days ago. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 34% of its net profit in 2022 as cash dividend.

For the record, MBLI had already distributed interim dividend of IDR 90.6 billion or IDR 43 per share in December 2022. Therefore, the total cash dividend for the fiscal year 2022 amounts to IDR 606.82 billion or IDR 288 per share.

The final dividend will be disbursed to MLBI’s shareholders whose names have been officially listed by the recording date on June 6. The final dividend disbursement will then take place on June 22.

According to IDNFinancials record, MLBI scored a net profit of IDR 924.77 billion in the fiscal year 2022. Last year, the company also recorded retained earnings of IDR 1.08 trillion and total equity of IDR 1.09 trillion. (KR/ZH)
